Privacy Policy

Party Up is built for people sharing a room, not personal data. This policy explains what stays on your device, what happens when you contact us and how the website works.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Party Up iPhone and iPad application (the “App”), this Party Up website (the “Website”), and support communications sent to the Party Up developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

The App currently has no user accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, cloud backend or social login. Core gameplay works without an internet connection.

2. How the App handles data

We do not receive or collect your player list, game choices, game results or preference settings through the App. The App stores a small amount of information locally so it can remember how you like to play.

Information Purpose Where it stays
Player names or nicknames Turn order, team assignment and pass-and-play modes On your device
Sound, music and haptic preferences Remember your chosen experience On your device
Current game state Run the game you selected In memory for the current session, or locally where the App explicitly saves a preference

App Store privacy label: based on the current build, the App itself does not collect data as Apple defines collection because this local information is not transmitted off your device.

3. Device motion

The dice game can respond when you shake or move your phone. Motion and accelerometer readings are processed temporarily on your device only to detect that gesture. We do not record, store, associate or transmit those readings.

4. Support emails

The App and Website can open your chosen email application so you can contact us. Nothing is sent until you decide to send the message.

If you send an email, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, message and attachments. The App may prefill its version and basic device information such as the device model and operating system version to help diagnose a problem. You can edit or remove that information before sending.

We use support messages only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse and maintain the App. Your email provider processes the message under its own privacy terms.

5. Website data

The Website does not intentionally set cookies, use advertising pixels, load third-party analytics or provide account forms. Its fonts, scripts and images are served with the Website.

Like most websites, a hosting provider may process limited technical logs—including IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp—to deliver the Website, maintain reliability and protect it from abuse. We do not use those logs to build advertising profiles.

6. Sharing, sale and advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising or third-party marketing. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the App.

Information from a support request may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to operate support, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

Local App data

You can edit player names and preferences within the App. Removing the App normally removes its locally stored data, subject to your device backups and Apple’s platform behavior.

Support messages

We retain support messages only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, keep necessary business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a support conversation, although we may retain limited records when legally required.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You control whether to enter player names, enable sound or haptics, use the shake gesture, or send a support email. You can use nicknames instead of real names.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of personal information. Because we do not operate App accounts or receive local gameplay data, we cannot retrieve data that remains only on your device. For information contained in a support message, email us using the address below.

9. Children

Party Up is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you are below the age at which you can consent to data processing where you live, use the App and contact features only with a parent or guardian’s involvement. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Security and international processing

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. If you email us, your message may be processed in countries where you, your email provider or our email provider operates.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, Website or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or Website when appropriate.

12. Contact

Questions, privacy requests or complaints can be sent to:

Party Up Privacy
layseallone@hotmail.com

Please include “Party Up Privacy” in the subject line. We may need to verify enough information to locate a support conversation before completing a request.
